I sculpted the Bauhinia flower as the reference from the coins of Hong Kong as the theme of this sand casting demonstration in London.
The petals were removed one by one and distributed to the audience as a symbol of the Chinese value of the falling flowers. The beauty of fallen flowers should not be overlooked, as they nourish the soil for new growth in the future.
