廖榮想先生
廖榮想於1962年投身鑄銅事業有57年，是香港僅存的鑄銅師傅。
其鑄造物料除了銅，亦包括不鏽鋼、鐵、銀及玻璃等。
另外，他銅製的嬰兒手腳作品亦為人所共知，做功精細，訂單不斷。
認識師傅已將近十個年頭，他對鑄銅事業的熱誠有增無減，其一絲不苟的創作精神，就如他的技術一樣踏實和簡樸，絕不含糊馬虎。
記得有一次他向我分享有關他的玻璃製成品，每一件都賞心悅目，做功非凡。
當我於欣賞之際，他卻指出，失敗的作品比眼前成品數量多出好幾倍。
他語重心長地道：「要和失敗做朋友。」
廖師傅快年屆八十，仍然每日謙卑地於他的專業，更常向同樣作為創作者的我們，毫無保留的分享他作品及創作心得。
「要和失敗做朋友。」我想這忠告正是我們這一代人所需要時刻提醒自己的訓示。
Master Liu Wing Sheung entered the business at the age of 22, He has been working in the post for 57 years, he is the only and well known bronze caster in Hong Kong.
Fanson met Master Liu in 2012, Liu often shares his work and experience with Fanson, and teach him the techniques in metal casting.
His enthusiasm of copper casting is still increasing, also his meticulous creative spirit. As his technique is practical and unadorned, it is absolutely unambiguous. Liu is 80 years old, still working on his profession humbly;
He once shared each of his glass products are delightful and worked talented. But the fact that the number of failed works is several times higher than the number of finished products. Master Liu often spends few days for production, when the results are still unknown.
'Be friends with failure,' he said, this is exactly what our generation needs to remind ourselves.
